AA Book Club's Big Book and Twelve and Twelve Analysis

It is our intention to show exactly what each book says, and what they do not say. We invite readers to have an open mind and compare common assumptions and practices to a precise reading of the text. We attempt to keep opinion and conjecture to a minimum, and to focus on Nothing But Literature. Aware of the potential for disagreement, we echo the words of the Founders: "Nothing would please us so much as to write a book which would contain no basis for contention or argument. We shall do our utmost to achieve that ideal. Most of us sense that real tolerance of other people’s shortcomings and viewpoints and a respect for their opinions are attitudes which make us more useful to others."

We invite you to open your Big Book and Twelve and Twelve and study them chapter by chapter and page by page with the help of our study guide...
